To Travelers Who Ran Out of Regular Medication While Visiting Kyoto

  1. If you can provide the name of the active ingredient and dosage in milligrams, we can issue a prescription for oral medication.
  2. Please understand that our clinic mainly serves local patients. Your cooperation is appreciated.
  3. We only provide oral, patch-type, inhaled, and topical medications.
  4. Please check the availability of your medication in Japan:

  5. OTC medicines like acetaminophen or loxoprofen are cheaper at pharmacies.
  6.  We do not offer online consultations.
  7. Our prescriptions can be used at any pharmacy in Japan.
  8. Prescription is valid for 4 days including today.
  9. For travelers only. Max 20-day supply.
  10. Fee: 33,000 yen for consultation and prescription (up to 20 days of supply).Cash only.
  11. Doctors speak Japanese and basic English. Full explanations in English may not be possible.
  12. Reception staff speak Japanese only.
  13. We will copy your passport for identification.
  14. No methylphenidate, lisdexamfetamine, opioids, or narcotics.

    Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 NOON
    Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 NOON
    Friday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
    Please note that waiting time may occur.
  16. We can issue a receipt in the format shown above, indicating emergency treatment for insurance purposes.
